Stephen Strasburg’s final Triple-A Start, on Thursday against Buffalo, will be aired on tape delay on MASN at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Strasburg is scheduled to pitch six innings or throw 95 pitches, whichever comes first. It’s the final step before he makes his Nationals debut on June 8 against the Pirates (barring an injury or rain delay). It likely sets him up for something between 90 and 100 pitches in his first major-league start.
Also, the Nationals are giving season-ticket holders another opportunity to by Strasburg tickets tomorrow at 10 a.m. But if you’re a season-ticket holder, you probably already know that.
The Nationals also sell grandstand seats before each game, but those must be purchased the day of the game at Nationals Park. Those typically go on sale 2 1/2 hours before the game. I don’t know if there are special policies for those tickets, though; anybody have any more info?
