The Nationals’ rotation to the All-Star break

Assuming the Nationals stick with the plan Jim Riggleman laid out a few minutes ago on ESPN 980, here’s the rotation until the All-Star break.

Effectively, Stephen Strasburg goes from being the team’s No. 5 starter to No. 2 by the break, gets an extra start at home (June 23 against the Royals) and nobody pitches on short rest with the team’s off-days. Not only does it work, it’s kind of brilliant.
