Ramos back in Syracuse lineup

Wilson Ramos, who hasn’t played since Aug. 25 after pulling up on his way to second base, is back in the lineup for Triple-A Syracuse tonight. The catcher will start for the Chiefs in their 5:00 game against Lehigh Valley. Ramos, who was acquired in the July 29 trade that sent Matt Capps to the Minnesota Twins, is expected to be among the Nationals’ September call-ups, and will likely compete for playing time on the big-league roster next year.

He is hitting .319 with three homers in 18 games at Syracuse.
