Rain, hail delay Nationals and Braves again (updated)

The Nationals and Braves are back under a delay in the fourth inning, as rain and hail came into Nationals Park during Jayson Werth’s third at-bat of the day. Washington leads 4-1.

We’ll keep you posted on the weather outlook here. It’s currently pouring, and Werth stepped out of the box during his at-bat as hail was bouncing off his shoulder.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE AT 3:34 P.M.: The tarp is off the field, and the weather has cleared up here. They’re calling for a 3:45 p.m. restart. John Lannan was stretching in right field, and it looks like he’ll stay in the game.
