Wednesday’s Nationals-Giants lineups (updated)

SAN FRANCISCO - Hello from AT&T Park, where the Nationals are hoping to win their series with the Giants today at 3:45 p.m.. Washington’s Yunesky Maya takes the mound against Matt Cain.

Realistically, the Nationals should already have the series wrapped up. But the price you pay for losing a game where you knocked Tim Lincecum out in the fifth inning and got seven one-runnings from John Lannan is this: You ask a pitcher who’s still looking for his first career quality start to beat a former All-Star.

Here is the Nationals’ lineup. I’ll post the Giants’ lineup once it’s available:

Update: Just after the Nationals posted their original lineup, they’ve made a change. Jayson Werth has been scratched from the lineup for a second straight day. The Nationals will instead put Laynce Nix in right field and Roger Bernadina in left.

Here’s the revised lineup, with the Giants’ lineup below it:

Nationals:
Bernadina - LF
Desmond - SS
Nix - RF
Morse - 1B
Ramos - C
Espinosa - 2B
Ankiel - CF
Cora - 3B
Maya - P

Giants:
