Hey all, I promise I'm not shorting you on the coaching staff story. I'm sifting through material and will have that early this evening, but wanted to throw a few things out there first:
First of all, I'm planning to hold a live chat over here on Wednesday evening - does 7:30 work for everyone?
For this chat, I'd like to do something a little different. I'll spend the first 45 minutes taking questions on Nats-related stuff, but for the next 45 minutes (or however long it goes), I'd like to turn around and ask you some questions: about what you'd like to see from coverage in general, about what kinds of things you find worthwhile on the site, what kinds of things bug you, etc.
I'm still breaking out of my newspaper mold, and getting your input would help me fine-tune the coverage over here. I'll put up a blog post with more chat info, but for now, let me know if 7:30 Wednesday evening works, and if you're cool with the different format.
Second, are there enough people down in Viera at any point this spring to do a tweetup? I'm definitely interested in doing a couple of these during the regular season, but I don't know if we can get a critical mass of people together in the spring to make it worthwhile. Post ideas, schedules, etc., in the comments.
Also be on the lookout starting Thursday for our live in-game coverage, which will include a live chat/update window on the site, and eventually some new bells and whistles. I'll post more info on that soon, but we'll have something for you every day this spring and into the regular season, starting Thursday at 1:00.
And finally, I'm still sorting through all of your music suggestions from a couple weeks ago. I'm digging what I've heard of Eric Lindell so far, interested in The Datsuns and checking out a ton of new bands I haven't heard. And then there's Rush. So thanks for all the ideas. Hefty workloads (and an over-analytical mind) have prevented me from making a purchase so far, but I'll keep you posted.
