Welcome to MASN's live thread for today's Nationals-Marlins game at Nationals Park. I'll have updates and analysis throughout the game, and whether you're just watching the game on TV or following online, you can participate by commenting in this thread. Or, if you're on Twitter, you can tag tweets with #masnnats, and they'll be included in the chat.
If you want to participate in the chat via our Gamezone space, which includes live stats, matchup data, pitch tracking and more, head here. And if you're not into the game chat experience, that's fine, too - I'll provide some periodic updates below the chat window.
Thru 3 1/2: The Marlins are making Livan Hernandez work; he's thrown 60 pitches partway through the fourth inning. But Florida's four hits aren't translating into runs, at least not yet. The Nationals scored their first run on Ryan ZImmerman's RBI groundout in the first inning, and manufactured another one with some good baserunning in the third, with Adam Kennedy taking second on a wild pitch and scoring on Adam Dunn's single to left. Kennedy has established himself as one of the Nationals' smartest, yet most aggressive baserunners early this year. He also had a hit in the first inning. So it's 2-0 Nats in the fourth.
