I spent part of an afternoon last week talking to Nationals setup man Tyler Clippard - he of the goofy goggles, gangly delivery and oddball intro music ("Peaches" by Presidents of the United States of America).
His teammates give him a hard time off the field, but on it, Clippard has transformed himself into one of the National League's best relievers early this season. And it's his offbeat delivery that's helped him do it.
