Two quick items

A couple quick things on Monday night:

--The Nationals signed 22 players from last week's First-Year Player Draft, including fifth-rounder Jason Martinson, a shortstop from Texas State, and sixth-rounder Cole Leonida, a catcher from Georgia Tech. They've already signed 12 of the top 20 players they've drafted, meaning their farm system will get an immediate shot of talent, especially up the middle; four of the 20 players they've signed are catchers or middle infielders.

--Yesterday's Nationals-Indians game did a 5,4 rating in the D.C. market, setting a record for a MASN/WDCW simulcast. The high quarter-hour was an 8.3 rating, meaning 194,000 households in the Washington market were watching the game at one point yesterday.
