The sun is shining at Nationals Park, but we're not ready to start the game. Apparently, there's another cell coming through in about 15 minutes, and the Nationals' grounds crew is expecting more rain. So they're waiting, through the sunshine, to restart the game after it rains again. Yippee.
Also, a random thought: Roy Oswalt, who's officially been acquired by the Phillies, will likely start for them tomorrow in place of J.A. Happ, for whom he was traded. That probably means another invasion of Phillies fans at Nationals Park, for Miss Iowa throwing out the first pitch.
Two questions: Will she get booed like Miguel Batista did, completing this bizarre cycle? And is there a security risk involved with putting a model in front of a park full of Phillies fans? Discuss.
