After striking out four batters in the first three innings, Stephen Strasburg has kept an even pace, striking out four more Giants in the next three. He's at eight strikeouts, and 95 pitches, through six innings, having gotten through the sixth in seven pitches. The Nationals had Drew Storen warming in the bullpen, but motioned to slow him down a little when Strasburg got through the sixth so quickly. It's possible they'll bring him back out for one batter in the seventh.
The Nationals have a 2-1 lead, courtesy of yet another homer from Adam Dunn. He went low for a Matt Cain fastball in the fourth inning, launching it to the second deck in right center for his fourth homer in three games and 21st of the season.
