Nats make it interesting in 7th

We're in the top of the eighth here at Nationals Park, and after falling behind 5-0 early, the Nationals have crept into it with a couple of runs in the seventh. But they've missed a couple chances to tie the game or take the lead, leaving the bases loaded in both in the sixth and seventh innings.

The better shot came in the seventh, when the Nationals loaded the bases with one out. But the only run came on an infield single for Adam Dunn. Sergio Romo struck out Josh Willingham on three straight sliders, in an uncharacteristically bad at-bat for the left fielder, and got Ivan Rodriguez to fly out to center on a slider.

Two more chances for the Nationals to overtake the Giants and win the series.
