Scott Olsen's return to Washington went about as well as the Nationals could have hoped. And on a rainy Thursday afternoon at Nationals Park, they sealed a series victory against the NL East leaders.
Olsen allowed three runs in six innings, winning in his first start since May 21, as the Nationals beat the Atlanta Braves 5-3. Adam Dunn and Ian Desmond homered for the Nationals, and Matt Capps pitched a perfect ninth for the save.
