Good afternoon from Nationals Park, where the skies are clearing (at least partly) before the Nationals face the Giants tonight. Here are the lineups for tonight's game (I'll add the Giants' full lineup once I have it).
As you'll see, Justin Maxwell is immediately in the lineup, leading off against Jonathan Sanchez (who is pitching on the one-year anniversary of his no-hitter). It's primarily because the Nationals face another left-hander, and manager Jim Riggleman wants to sit Nyjer Morgan against the lefty. That's also part of the reason Michael Morse is in the lineup instead of Roger Bernadina.
