A Wilson Ramos update

A couple of you have been asking about Wilson Ramos, who hasn't been in the lineup for Triple-A Syracuse the last two days and didn't catch Yunesky Maya on Friday night.

According to two sources with the Chiefs, Ramos pulled up awkwardly heading into second a couple days ago, but is not seriously hurt; manager Trent Jewett has just been resting him. Jewett brought him out to pinch hit yesterday, but sent Ramos back to the dugout in the 13th inning because he was out of pitchers.

Ramos, who was acquired from the Twins in the July trade for Matt Capps, is expected to be one of the Nationals' September call-ups once Syracuse's season is over.
