Nationals trailing 4-1 through eight

The Nationals are finally on the scoreboard, trailing the Cardinals 4-1 after Willie Harris' pinch homer. But they should only be down 4-2.

Before Harris hit his homer into the Nationals' bullpen, Nyjer Morgan got picked off first. It was the 11th time that's happened this year, in addition to the 14 times he's been caught stealing and the four other outs he's committed on the basepaths. That's a total of 29 outs on the basepaths this year, for a hitter who's only got a .316 on-base percentage to begin with.

In the eighth inning tonight, you can directly, and definitively, say it cost the Nationals a run.
