The Nationals have a 6-1 lead on the Diamondbacks in the seventh inning, having added two more runs on Adam Kennedy's double and a single by Adam Dunn, who now has four RBI tonight.
In other news, shortstop Daniel Espinosa hit three homers tonight for Double-A Harrisburg, including a two-run blast to put the Senators ahead for good in the 10th inning of a 5-3 win over Binghamton. Espinosa is hitting .262, and now has 18 homers at Harrisburg. He's thought to have a good chance at being in the Nationals' middle infield next season, and continues to show some power in the minors. He hit 17 homers last year, and hitting coach Rick Eckstein said this spring that Espinosa has the potential to post double-digit homer totals in the majors.
Joel Peralta is on to pitch the bottom of the seventh for the Nationals, who appear to be headed for a win.
