Tuesday's Nationals-Braves discussion space

Welcome to MASN's discussion space for tonight's Nationals-Braves game at Turner Field. If you'd like to discuss the game, leave your comments here, and I'll respond to some of them there. I'm probably going to keep the game updates on the sparser side tonight after burning the midnight oil (and then some) last night, but I'll chime in a couple times.

8:27: In a spot where he needed to turn in a good outing, Scott Olsen has so far. Nationals manager Jim Riggleman said today that Jordan Zimmermann will return to the rotation after one more start at Triple-A Syracuse, and Olsen - who has struggled since coming back from the disabled list - could be in danger of losing his spot. But he's pitched five shutout innings against Atlanta tonight, allowing just one hit. He's also hit a batter, but has struck out four, and has thrown just 58 pitches.

9:20: The Nationals trail 4-2, after things fell apart for Olsen. He allowed a homer and a triple, and walked Jason Heyward, before leaving the game. Both runners scored off Joel Peralta, and Olsen wound up tagged with three runs after a five-inning shutout start to the game. The Nationals had taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the inning on a pair of doubles from Wil Nieves and Michael Morse, but Olsen blew the lead in the bottom of the sixth.
