So here's what I'm thinking for this weekend's get-together -- reader Miss Chatter has graciously volunteered her house in Falls Church to show an outdoor movie before the Nationals game on Saturday night. We were talking about doing this in May, but I was on the West Coast road trip that week, so it didn't happen at that point.
The tentative plan is to show The Sandlot -- we'd probably start that around 7:30 or so, and switch to the Nationals/Dodgers game when it starts at 10:10, for those interested in sticking around. It's a PG movie, so it should be fine for most kids. Bring your own snacks/drinks, and I'll see what I can do about providing a couple things. Miss Chatter has a little more info on the outdoor movie/baseball on the barn experience on her site.
