A little info on our offseason Nationals coverage plans

There's no baseball game for the Nationals today, and in four days, that will be a constant reality for the next four-and-a-half months. But that doesn't mean we won't have plenty going on around here.

I'll be covering the team all winter, keeping you up-to-date on the Nationals' offseason moves, the development of their prospects in the Arizona Fall League and more. We'll also have a number of detailed looks back at the 2010 season that will hopefully add a few more layers of analysis to what we've all been watching for the last six months.

One thing I'm also planning to do - and I'd love your feedback on whether you' be interested in this or not - is host a regular series of offseason get-togethers where you can talk baseball, pick my brain on what the Nationals are doing this winter and socialize with each other. We'll probably call it our "Hot Stove Roundtable" or something like that.

For those interested, we might add a "book club" element to it, where we pick a great baseball book, read through it and get together to discuss it. I'm pretty wide-open on how this could look, so let me know any suggestions you have. But I am planning to have some type of regular meet-up during the winter, so keep an eye out for that.

Thanks for all your interest, passion and suggestions over the season. One of the most rewarding parts of this job is writing every day for a group of people who are so invested in the subject you're covering, and I appreciate all of your time and ideas. Let me know what suggestions you've got for our offseason get-togethers, or any other ideas you have. Thanks again!
