VIERA, Fla. - The Nationals and Mets have just gotten started at Space Coast Stadium - Jose Reyes doubled to right off Livan Hernandez to start the game, followed by a Willie Harris flyout to center after a few taunts from hecklers. Really? The guy was practically a model citizen with the Nationals. David Wright just flew out to right, and Reyes beat a tag from Ivan Rodriguez at home after a good throw from Jayson Werth. It's 1-0 Mets in the top of the first.
Anyway, I'm still tinkering with blog stuff around here, so I'm going to try a few periodic posts today with more insight and items of interest, rather than just straight play-by-play. I'll still have plenty of game updates, though, so keep checking back. They'll just be organized a little differently, and hopefully will have a little more color.
