MIAMI - Good afternoon from Sun Life Stadium. After saying yesterday he would make a change in the leadoff spot of the lineup, Nationals manager Jim Riggleman has changed his mind.
Ian Desmond, not Danny Espinosa, will lead off for the Nationals tonight against the Marlins, getting another chance to pull himself out of is 0-for-13 slump in the leadoff spot. Riggleman had said yesterday that he would bat Espinosa in the leadoff spot and give Desmond a chance to work things out in the No. 7 hole. We'll talk to Riggleman in about an hour to see what made him change his mind.
