Jerry Hairston Jr. suspended for umpire argument on Friday

Nationals infielder Jerry Hairston Jr. has been suspended one game by Major League Baseball for his actions on Friday night, when he argued that Padres pitcher Clayton Richard quick-pitched him after he called time and stepped out of the batter's box. Hairston made contact with home plate umpire Ed Hickox, and was immediately ejected.

He's appealing the suspension, though, which is why he's in the lineup today.
