PHILADELPHIA - We're about ready to go at Citizens Bank Park for the second game of the Nationals-Phillies series. I've tinkered around with a couple different in-game blogging formats this year, and I'm going to add a new/old wrinkle to things tonight.
Most of the time last year, I posted a discussion space for those of you who wanted to comment on the game. I'm setting up this post for that tonight; chime in with your thoughts or questions, and I'll respond to you in the comments. I might drop a poll question or two in here, as well.
I'll still add a couple other posts with trends and analysis on the game - the idea this year has been to take a little deeper look at what's going on during the game. But consider this a home base, of sorts. We'll try it out and see how it goes.
One change for the Nationals: Laynce Nix is now playing left field and batting sixth, after Michael Morse was scratched late. I'll post more details once I have them.

UPDATE AT 7:23 P.M.: Michael Morse was scratched with right knee soreness. He's available to pinch hit tonight if needed.
----------------------------
UPDATE AT 8:05 P.M.: I just posted an analysis of the first three innings here, answering a question a couple of you raised about the strikeouts.

UPDATE AT 9:12 P.M.: Jason Marquis' night is done, and I've got a blog post detailing it here. The Phillies are up 7-1, and Marquis' outing was easily his worst of the year. His numbers at Citizens Bank Park were already awful, and they're about to get worse.
