SAN FRANCISCO - Right fielder Jayson Werth, who tumbled over the Nationals' bullpen mound while trying to catch a foul ball in the eighth inning, was scratched from tonight's lineup. Laynce Nix will play right field and hit eighth for Washington, with Danny Espinosa hitting third.
Werth thought last night he would be able to play after turning his ankle, but he'll sit out and be available to pinch hit.
