Nationals drop Orioles 8-4

The Nationals' winning streak just keeps going.

They endured a 56-minute rain delay and a sloppy, soggy back-and-forth game with the Orioles, but at the end of the night, they had an 8-4 win over Baltimore and their seventh straight victory.

The streak is now tied for the longest since 2005, the team's first year in Washington.

Jason Marquis gave up 12 hits, and the Orioles had three players with at least four hits - including Derrek Lee, who got his fifth career five-hit games. But it didn't matter. The Nationals got three hits from Jerry Hairston Jr., who ripped a double to left on a hit-and-run with Wilson Ramos in the sixth inning.

More from the clubhouse in a little bit.
