Morse has forearm contusion, expects to play Sunday

Nationals first baseman Michael Morse sustained a contusion to the left forearm when he was hit by Chris Resop pitch in the eighth inning of Saturday's second game. Results of X-rays are pending, but Morse said he expects to be available to play Sunday.

"I feel fine," he said, sporting a protective covering over his lower left arm. "It's just a bruise. I wish I would have got out of the way."

Morse was replaced by pinch runner Brian Bixler, who eventually scored the tying run in the Nationals' two-run rally.

"I'll be OK tomorrow," he said.
