The Nationals still have a shot to finish the season above .500, and on Saturday afternoon, they kept the Braves' playoff hopes in some doubt.
Chien-Ming Wang got his fourth win of the year, finishing the season with a 4-3 record, and the Nationals beat Atlanta 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Wang allowed one run in six innings, striking out four batters without a walk. He also got his first hit in 33 career at-bats, driving in a run with a single to right in the fourth inning.
Danny Espinosa drove in a pair of runs, and Chris Marrero also went 1-for-3 with a RBI. Drew Storen pitched to four batters in the ninth inning for his 41st save.
More from the clubhouse in a little bit.
