The Nationals will try to win for the second time in their four-game series against the Mets tonight with Chien-Ming Wang on the mound. If they win the series, they'd be a game behind New York for third place in the National League East. And if they can sweep the series, they'd be a game ahead.
On another note, Major League Baseball announced the nominees for the Roberto Clemente Award today, and Ian Desmond is the Nationals' candidate for the award.
