Kyle Drabek, Ochocinco and an ALCS Preview?

Tonight at Oriole Park, Kyle Drabek will make his Major League debut for the Toronto Blue Jays. If you don't recognize the name, Drabek was one of the three prospects sent to the Blue Jays from the Philadelphia Phillies in the blockbuster three-team trade that sent Roy Halladay to Philly and Cliff Lee to Seattle.

Drabek, who was believed to be a No. 3 starter in the Phillies rotation, according to GM Ruben Amaro Jr., could be a No. 1 in Toronto and their ace in what has become one of the youngest and most impressive rotations in baseball along with the Oakland A's.

Watch Drabek face Brad Bergesen tonight on MASN at 7:00 p.m.

Also, before you all yell at me for talking about the Yankees, I think the majority of baseball fans in the country are talking about how exciting the Yankees-Rays series has been in Tampa. On Monday night, lefties David Price and CC Sabathia dueled, forcing the game into the 11th inning with the Rays walking away with a victory after Reid Brignac went yard off Sergio Mitre. More importantly, that win put the Rays in first place over New York. However, they didn't get too comfortable.

Last night the two teams again went into extra innings, but this time the Yankees were the victorious ones after Jorge Posada connected for a pinch-hit home run in the 10th inning to put New York back into first place. The Yankees had an early 6-0 lead, but Tampa Bay's bats came alive when they put up seven runs in the dramatic fifth inning to take a 7-6 lead. Robinson Cano then tied the game in the sixth with an RBI double that put the game into extras. The game would eventually end when Carl Crawford tried to advance to third on a fly ball but was gunned down by right fielder Greg Golson and tagged by Alex Rodriguez for the game-ending out.

Point being, if these two games are any indication of what an ALCS could offer, I will be glued to the TV.

The Ravens had their weekly media day today at their Owings Mills facility and the team has already put the victory over the Jets behind them, and they are ready to take on the Bengals this Sunday afternoon. And even though the Bengals' offense was completely shut down by New England's defense last week, the Ravens are not taking this game lightly.

Playing their second straight game on the road, the hype reached a new high today when Chad Ochocinco and three Ravens - Ray Lewis, LeRon McClain and Willis McGahee - exchanged words via Twitter (shocker) regarding Sunday's anticipated matchup. Although Ochocinco later insisted that he's friends with every Raven on the team, it still gives fans a little extra something to watch for (like Darrell Revis) on Sunday. On that same call, Ochocinco did not want to discuss his tweets.

"I want to talk about football," Ochocinco said via conference call. "I want to talk about football. There's a game on Sunday." He then added he wasn't poking out of fun, he was poking out of fear.

Don't forget myself and the 105.7 The Fan Gameday crew will be at Dave and Busters in the Arundel Mills Mall for the live two-hour pre and post game show. Tune in or stop by and say hello!
