Kerzel, a freelance writer for The Associated Press since 1981 has covered hundreds of games of the mid-Atlantic region's professional teams, including the Orioles, Nationals, Ravens, Wizards, Capitals, and D.C. United, as well as local college football and basketball. Most recently, he penned an Oriole-centric blog for PressBox and PressBoxOnline.com and provided Orioles coverage for CSNBaltimore.com.
