Game 37 lineups: Nats at Braves

In the second game of the Nationals' doubleheader against the Braves, right-hander Wil Crowe will make his second major league start, looking to help the Nats stop a week-long skid.

With the 7-1 loss in the opener, the Nats have lost a season-high seven games in a row, their longest losing streak since June 18-25, 2016.

He tossed 3 2/3 innings, scattering six hits, giving up four runs with two walks and two strikeouts. Crowe surrendered a two-run homer to Corey Dickerson in the third inning that put the Marlins ahead 2-1.

"He threw the ball last time fairly well," said manager Davey Martinez today during the pregame Zoom video session with reporters. "I want to see if he can repeat that. He is facing a tough lineup in Atlanta, so it will be interesting to see how he goes out there and see how poised he is."

Crowe will oppose Braves right-hander Huascar Ynoa (0-0, 3.86). This will be Ynoa's third start of the season and his first since Aug. 12 at the Yankees. His last appearance was out of the bullpen on Sept. 1 against the Red Sox. On Aug. 17, Ynoa pitched three shutout innings against the Nats, allowing two hits and striking out four.
