Washington Nationals Homestand Highlights vs. Miami Marlins (April 9-10) & Atlanta Braves (April 11-14)

SATURDAY, APRIL 9

* Ryan Zimmerman Field dedication: On Saturday, District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser, Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman, the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation and representatives from Under Armour will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the brand new Ryan Zimmerman Field at Randall Recreation Center in Southwest D.C. The field will serve the surrounding community by hosting Capitol Hill Little League games and other District of Columbia youth sports leagues throughout the year. Ryan Zimmerman Field is part of the Nationals Dream Foundation's effort to refurbish youth baseball fields in the Washington metropolitan region and promote baseball.

* Nationals T-shirt presented by Budweiser: The Nationals will be giving away Nationals T-shirts presented by Budweiser to the first 20,000 fans ages 21 and up who enter the ballpark through ALL GATES. DJ Chris Stiles will perform at the Budweiser Terrace.

* Players Choice Award presentation: During a pregame ceremony, Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper will be presented with the Players Choice Award for 2015 National League Outstanding Player. The awards were voted on by major league players and were announced on MLB Network in November.

SUNDAY, APRIL 10

* Racing Presidents surprise: The Racing Presidents will introduce a special guest during their race on April 10!

As part of Major League Baseball's ongoing safety enhancements at all ballparks, Nationals Park introduced walk-through metal detectors before the 2015 season. These safety precautions will continue throughout the 2016 season. The Nationals have added metal detectors at all entrances, including Third Base, as well as the ADA First Base Accessible entrance. Fans are encouraged to allow plenty of extra time when getting to their seats.

Fans traveling to the ballpark should be aware that there are numerous new construction projects underway in the surrounding area. To ensure safe crossings, please be mindful of signage and directions given by public safety officers.
