Starting lineups: Nats vs. Marlins in Jupiter (Arroyo scratched from start)

JUPITER, Fla. - Hello from Roger Dean Stadium, where the Nationals seem to play every other day in March. They're back today to face the Marlins, with several regulars having made the drive down from Viera.

That includes Ryan Zimmerman, who today makes his spring debut at first base. Zimmerman served as designated hitter twice earlier in the week and showed no ill effects of the plantar fasciitis that plagued him last season, so he's good to play in the field today for the first time.

Bronson Arroyo takes the mound for this one, coming off a very strong outing last week against the Astros. We're getting close to that point where the Nationals have to make what could be their toughest decision of spring: Purchase Arroyo's contract and put him in the opening day rotation, or let him opt out of his minor league contract and become a free agent? (The deadline is March 25.)

Update: Arroyo has been scratched from today's start with shoulder soreness. Right-hander Blake Treinen will get the start instead.
