INNER HARBOR SOCCER GOAL CHALLENGE 

Fans will have the opportunity to meet the Oriole Bird and enter-to-win free giveaways, including  an Orioles Soccer Jersey and tickets to the September 3 game, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. outside  of the Baltimore Visitor Center at the Inner Harbor. Fans can win free Pepsi products and Orioles  tickets when they attempt to kick a goal at the net located outside of the Baltimore Visitor Center,  and all fans who stop by will receive free Pepsi samples.

CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS DAY 

The Orioles will join Major League Baseball in recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. A child  from the Johns Hopkins Children's Center will help with the lineup card exchange and yell "Play Ball"  prior to the game. All uniformed personnel will wear a gold ribbon patch on their uniform. Infielder  TERRIN VAVRA has partnered with #VsCancer to help support children with brain tumors. Fans  can make a one-time donation, or pledge a dollar amount for every hit he gets in the month of  September, by clicking here. All donations will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's  #VsCancer program.  

ALUMNI AUTOGRAPHS: Larry Sheets, Dave Johnson, and Scott McGregor  

SHEETS, JOHNSON, and McGREGOR will be on Eutaw Street near the New Era cap store from 6:00  to 7:00 p.m. to sign autographs for fans, free of cost. 

FIRST PITCH: Peggy Daidakis 

Retiring after 44 years with the Baltimore Convention Center, DAIDAKIS will throw out the ceremonial  first pitch prior to the game. Daidakis became the first woman to lead a national convention center  when she was named the Executive Director by Mayor Clarence “Du” Burns in 1986. 

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Michelina DeVeas 

DeVEAS will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the  game. She will also perform "This Land Is Your Land" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the  seventh inning.

Maryland native and 2022 Gatorade National Boys Soccer Player of the Year, MURRELL will throw  out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. A graduate of McDonogh School in Owings Mills,  Murrell is continuing his soccer and academic career at nationally ranked Georgetown University. 

FIRST PITCH: Stephen Molnar  

Representing Amazon DCA1, MOLNAR will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.  More than 1,500 Amazon DCA1 staff members and their families will be in attendance at the game.  

SPECIAL GUESTS: Delmar Softball Little League Majors All-Stars 

The Orioles will host members of the Delmar, Md., Softball Little League Majors All-Star Team  at the game. This past summer, Delmar's Softball Majors All-Star team became the first-ever  softball team from Maryland to advance to the Little League World Series. The team made it to the  championship game, where they fell to Texas, 5-4.  

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Miranda Soong 

SOONG will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.  She will also perform "America The Beautiful" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh  inning.

FIRST PITCH: COL. Annette R. Grand Pre 

COLONEL ANNETTE R. GRAND PRE will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. She  entered the military in 1983, enlisting in the Army Reserve as a Medical Laboratory Technician in  the 11th Special Forces Group after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters  in Emergency and Disaster Management from Georgetown University. Col. Grand Pre’s military  assignments with the National Guard included Platoon Leader, Medical Operations Officer, and  Company Commander of the Medical Company 40th Forward Support Battalion and the 40th Brigade  Support Battalion S3. She has received numerous awards and decorations including The Legion  of Merit, Air Force Commendation Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal. The Orioles will  provide her and her family with game tickets, a catered suite, and the opportunity to meet an  Orioles player prior to the game.

HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES NIGHT  

The Orioles will celebrate local Historically Black Colleges and Universities with information tables  set up in the bullpen picnic area, performances from school step teams, and mascot appearances.  The Orioles will also donate $5 from every ticket purchased using specialized HBCU Night codes to  initiatives benefiting HBCUs. FORT GEORGE G. MEADE focuses on providing required services, infrastructures, safe and secure  communities, and a quality of life that supports mission readiness and the Fort Meade community.  Established in 2021, Heroes Corner serves as a way for the Orioles to give back to the community  and show their appreciation to our front-line workers by donating tickets to local organizations.

CARDBOARD TO LEATHER EQUIPMENT COLLECTION 

The Orioles, Oriole Advocates, and Pepsi Stronger Together will hold their second Cardboard to  Leather Equipment Collection of the year. Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used  baseball and softball equipment with them to the ballpark, where volunteers will be located outside  of Gates A, H, and Home Plate Plaza to collect donations. Monetary donations will also be accepted.  

FLEET WEEK 

The Orioles will join the City of Baltimore in its celebration of Fleet Week with special pregame  activations. Fleet Week will return to Baltimore from September 7-13 with ship tours, festivals,  flyovers, and educational activities at the Inner Harbor, Port Covington, Fells Point, Under Armour  Pier, and Martin State Airport. 

FIRST PITCH: Culinary Specialist Submarine First Class Brandon Evans 

2021 Junior Sailor of the Year and Baltimore native, Petty Officer EVANS will throw out the  ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. An 11 year veteran of the United States Submarine Force,  Evans is currently serving on the Mighty USS MARYLAND (SSBN 738) out of Kings Bay, GA. 

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Musician First Class Robert Kurth 

MU1 KURTH will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.  He will also perform "This Land is Your Land" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning. 

COLOR GUARD: U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard 

The U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard will present the colors from the field during the national anthem.  

FLY OVER: T-6 Trainers 

Four T-6 Trainers will perform a fly over during the national anthem.

BIRDLAND SUMMER MUSIC SERIES, PRESENTED BY MILLER LITE: The Struts THE STRUTS will perform a postgame concert as part of the Birdland Summer Music Series,  presented by Miller Lite. The English rock band has opened for Guns N’ Roses, Rolling Stones, The  Who, and The Foo Fighters. MAKAYLA LYNN will serve as the opening act. Named by the Rolling  Stones Magazine as a new artist you need to know, Makayla Lynn has exploded into the Nashville  music scene, spending time at No. 1 on CMT's 12 Pack Countdown. AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL: Makayla Lynn 

MAKAYLA LYNN will perform her rendition of "America The Beautiful" from on top of the Orioles  dugout during the seventh inning. An up and coming Nashville artist, Makayla Lynn will also open  for The Struts as part of the Birdland Summer Music Series, presented by Miller Lite.  

PREGAME CEREMONY: United Concordia and Paul's Place Check Presentation  Prior to the game, THERESA ADOLF, representing United Concordia, will present Paul's Place  with a monetary donation. Paul's Place is a nonprofit organization focused on leading change  and improving the quality of life within Southwest Baltimore communities by offering a place for  individuals and families to nurture their spirits and gain self-sufficiency.

The 25th President of Loyola University Maryland, SAWYER will throw out the ceremonial first pitch  prior to the game.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Ian Bowling from the U.S. Army Field Band 

BOWLING will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the  game. He will also perform "God Bless America" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the  seventh inning. A 30’ x 42’ flag from Fort McHenry will be lowered from the batter’s eye during the  performance. The flag is a replica of the one that flew over Fort McHenry when Francis Scott Key  wrote the national anthem. 

COLOR GUARD: Baltimore City Fire Department Honor Guard 

Baltimore City Fire Department Honor Guard will present the colors from on the field prior to the  game.  

FLY OVER: E2-C Radar Planes 

Two E2-C RADAR PLANES will perform a fly over during the national anthem.  

HEROES CORNER: Maryland Food Bank 

The MARYLAND FOOD BANK focuses on feeding people, strengthening communities, and ending  hunger for more Marylanders. They supply food to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens,  shelters, and faith-based organizations that serve food-insecure Marylanders. Established in  2021, Heroes Corner serves as a way for the Orioles to give back to the community and show their  appreciation to our front-line workers by donating tickets to local organizations. 

MILITARY MEET AND GREET: Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) The Orioles will host military families from TAPS, providing them with complimentary game  tickets, military themed O's caps, and a catered suite. Prior to the game, the guests will have the  opportunity to take photos on the field and meet an Orioles player. 

KIDS RUN THE BASES, PRESENTED BY WEIS MARKETS 

All fans ages four to 14 will have the opportunity to run the bases following the game.
