MASN, the television home of the Washington Nationals, today announced its Major League Baseball schedule for the 2019 season. Once again, all Nationals games broadcast by MASN will be available in crystal-clear high definition, including the season opener at Nationals Park against the New York Mets on Thursday, March 28.
Other highlights of MASN’s 2019 Nationals schedule include interleague series against the Baltimore Orioles (July 16-17, Aug. 27-28), and the Chicago White Sox (June 4-5, 10-11), Detroit Tigers (June 28-30), Kansas City Royals (July 5-7), Minnesota Twins (Sept. 10-12) and Cleveland Indians (Sept. 27-29) of the American League Central.
The Nationals will have 89 games air live on MASN and an additional 69 games will be broadcast on MASN2. Four Nationals games are currently scheduled to air on national networks in 2019.
Play-by-play voice Bob Carpenter and color analyst F.P. Santangelo, a major leaguer for seven seasons, will again serve as MASN’s primary announce team. Carpenter enters his 14th season in the Nationals broadcast booth, while Santangelo begins his ninth campaign with the network. Alex Chappell begins her first season as MASN’s on-field reporter. Former Nationals on-field reporter Dan Kolko moves to “Nats Xtra,” where he will co-host the pregame and postgame shows on MASN alongside former Nationals third base coach and major league manager Bo Porter. MASNsports.com reporter Mark Zuckerman and veteran Washington, D.C., broadcaster Carol Maloney will appear regularly on “Nats Xtra.”
