Game 1 lineups: Nats at Braves

ATLANTA - And so it begins. And it could not begin under more perfect conditions. It is an absolutely spectacular day for baseball here at Turner Field, not a cloud in the sky, a nice northerly breeze blowing, temperatures in the low 70s.

The Nationals and Braves officially get underway at 4:10 p.m., with Max Scherzer taking the mound for the first time since his no-hitter at Citi Field. Scherzer will be facing an Atlanta lineup featuring noted Nats killer Freddie Freeman and ... well, these aren't your father's Braves.

Bryce Harper red swing.jpgJulio Teheran is a legit frontline starter, though, and he's had some success against the Nats over the years (3-2, 3.65 ERA in 11 starts). Bryce Harper, however, has had quite a bit of success against Teheran in his career (10-for-23, three home runs, 1.475 OPS).

We'll have tons of coverage today (and all season) so be sure to check the site early and often. Now sit back, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the ride ...
