Take a look back at MASN's Dan Kolko and Orbit's battle in Houston

A few years ago, Houston Astros mascot Orbit began a friendly squabble with MASN's Dan Kolko. Orbit is known around the league for getting into comical situations with fans, players and teams. He has done everything from tiger hunting to holding interventions to having his own hot dog eating contest to escaping police custody! The past few times that the Nationals and the Astros have met in Houston, there have been plenty of hilarious altercations in games (and on social media) between Orbit and Kolko.

\Let's take a look back at some of these fantastic moments:

In 2014, Kolko must've done something to hurt the fuzzy green creature, because he was attacked mid-game.

Heading into spring training this season, many wondered whether or not the two would meet again.

This week, the Nats headed to Houston, and Orbit took some time to catch up with Kolko. Take a look at some of their encounters below:

Orbit got the first laugh ...

He also got the second ...

... and the third.

Kolko and Orbit were back at it again Wednesday, and it all began with some on-air antics.

Then they got into a Nerf war!

Kolko seemed to have won the opening round, but Orbit came back strong with some heavy artillery.

Now we at MASN don't condone reporter-on-mascot violence, but of course we're pulling for Kolko and are confident he'll find a way to win the battle. It seems that Orbit came out as the winner, but I am sure there is more to come in the future between these two!
