Game 125 lineups: Nats at Astros

HOUSTON - A pair of evenly matched first-place clubs attempting to get healthy before the end of the regular season clash in the rubber match of a three-game set tonight at Minute Maid Park.

strasburg-gray-high-five-dugout.pngThe pitching matchup is outstanding with Nationals right-hander Stephen Strasburg (10-4, 3.24 ERA) facing off against Astros left-hander Dallas Keuchel (11-2, 2.58 ERA).

Keuchel is very good at home: 35-19 with a 2.89 ERA and 405 strikeouts in 77 games. He is 0-1 with a 5.73 ERA in two career starts against the Nats.

Strasburg is 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in two career starts against Astros. This is his first career start at Minute Maid Park. He is 5-7 with a 5.98 ERA in 12 starts in a dome.

The two teams average the most runs per game in the major leagues, with the Astros at 5.62 and the Nats at 5.26. The Nats are 9-10 in interleague play and 40-24 (.625) on the road this season.

Even without the likes of Bryce Harper and Max Scherzer, added to the disabled list that already included Jayson Werth and Trea Turner, the Nats have gone 11-5 and outscored their opponents 63-42 since Aug. 6.
