Game 140 lineups: Nats. vs Phillies (Victor Robles selected)

The Nationals return home to begin a 10-game home stand with the magic number to clinch the National League East at six as they begin four games against the Phillies.

Victor-Robles-swinging-white-P-Nats-sidebar.jpgThe club made a major announcement prior to the game that their top prospect, center fielder Victor Robles has had his contract selected from Double-A Harrisburg. Also called up are outfielders Andrew Stevenson and Rafael Bautista.

The 20-year-old Robles, ranked the No. 4 prospect in the game by MLB.com, hit .344 over his last 10 games for the Senators. Overall, he slashed .300/.382/.493. He has 37 doubles, eight triples, 10 homers, 27 stolen bases and 47 RBIs in 114 minor league games this season for high Single-A Potomac and Harrisburg. He has been asked for by many teams in trade talks over the past year. Robles will play for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League beginning in October.

Right-hander Tanner Roark gets the call against right-hander Aaron Nola. Roark is 11-9 with a 4.48 ERA. Nola is 10-10 with a 3.72 ERA. Daniel Murphy is hitting .389 in 18 at-bats against Nola, with one home run. Roark is 3-0 with a 0.79 ERA against the Phillies in five starts this season. In his has three games, Roark has struck out 26 batters and walked only two. He has 141 strikeouts on the season.

The Nationals lead the Marlins by 18 games in the East division, and are 31 games above .500 (85-54). They finished the season 13-6 against the Marlins.
