Game 9 lineups: Nationals at Phillies

PHILADELPHIA - The Nationals venture on the road for the second time this season, heading up Interstate 95 to face the National League East rival Phillies. It is their first matchup this season.

The Nats are off to a great start at 7-1, but the Phillies are doing fairly well, riding good pitching to a 5-5 record.

Ross notched his first win of the season with a seven-inning performance Sunday in a 4-2 defeat of the Marlins. He allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts and two walks.

The Phillies send out right-hander Jeremy Hellickson, who has a 1-0 record with a 1.54 ERA. He held the Mets to two runs on three hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings to earn his first win of the season on Sunday.He is 50-48 for his career with a 3.90 ERA.

Hellickson is 0-1 with a 6.97 ERA in two career starts against the Nationals.

The Nationals were 12-7 against the Phillies last season.
