Guthrie's day, and his velocity (updated)

Jeremy Guthrie gave the Orioles' 6 2/3 innings in Game 1 of today's doubleheader, and he left with a 6-3 lead. Guthrie allowed five hits, walked one and struck out five. He out-pitched Francisco Liriano, and he came into today as the decided underdog in that matchup. The two home runs put me on edge, and the Twins were launching some monstrous foul balls, but Guthrie held them in check and turned in a quality start. A few readers wondered about the decrease in Guthrie's velocity. I checked MASN's live boxscore, and Guthrie's fastball was clocked at 92, 92, 90, 92 and 92 mph as he struck out Nick Punto looking to record the second out in the seventh inning and end his afternoon. Update: The two-out RBI hits just keep coming. Adam Jones singled to score Cesar Izturis and increase the Orioles' lead to 7-3 in the top of the eighth.
