Hit one out of the park

If it wasn't obvious already, O's Buzz readers are the best. I checked out MASN's Fantasy Baseball game, and so far, if I'm not mistaken, the Orioles Buzz League is one of the most popular. Was it the prizes I hinted at, or were you just happy to show your support of the O's Buzz? (It's totally okay if you're thinking, "Hmm, yea...it might have been the prizes..." In any case, thanks to those of you who joined the Orioles Buzz League; and for those of you already signed up for fantasy baseball but not in the O's Buzz club, join us here. For those of you asking what MASN Fantasy Baseball is, check out an overview of it here. It should be a fun season, and I know a group of MASNsports.com readers had a blast with the fantasy game last season - Not to mention there are cool autographed prizes and a chance to win lunch with Dave Trembley thrown into the mix. Luke-Scott_Eutaw-Street-Home-Run_2009.jpg So if you're interested, sign up before games start this Sunday and we'll see how the 2010 season plays out. Also on another note, I ran into an old acquaintance this morning on Eutaw Street: Keith Rice, one the Maryland Stadium Authority workers who filled me in on the process behind laying the Eutaw Street home run plaques last season was at it again, placing the new plaques for home runs hit in 2009. If you missed the article last March, you can check it out here to read all the details. This offseason, Rice recognized me and let me in on which names we'll see gracing Eutaw Street this time around. Not to mention, the new harder epoxy Rice was using for the first time wasn't even dry on the new plaques when he let me take a few photos. Look for two new plaques from Luke Scott, one from former Oriole Aubrey Huff, and one from Washington National Adam Dunn when you hit the Yard this season.
