Orioles announce Fan Appreciation Weekend schedule

The Orioles today announced plans for Fan Appreciation Weekend, which will be held Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4, when the Orioles host the New York Yankees for the final three-game series of the 2015 regular season. The weekend will feature exclusive giveaways, fireworks, and other opportunities for fans to have unforgettable experiences at Oriole Park.

As a "thank you" to fans for their support throughout the season, the Orioles will also surprise the most-spirited fans at each game with prizes, including Orioles prize packs and autographed items.

Fan Appreciation Weekend will once again be highlighted by several social media contests and experiences designed to reward Birdland's most-dedicated fans. Beginning on Friday, fans attending games at Oriole Park will have access to a special Fan Appreciation filter on Snapchat. Following Friday's game, fans can also enjoy fireworks, presented by Johns Hopkins Medicine, and set to music previously selected by fans on social media.

Additionally, the Orioles will host two contests via social media. Currently, fans can enter the previously launched #PearcePickMe Instagram contest in conjunction with the Steve Pearce AT&T Fans' Choice Bobblehead giveaway. Three fans who submit a video or photo of their homemade sign explaining why they should be chosen will be entered for a chance to win tickets to the final game of the season, a meet-and-greet with Pearce prior to the game, and the chance to have Pearce sign their bobblehead. Fans must submit their video or photo on Instagram using #PearcePickMe by 4:59 p.m. today.

On Saturday, randomly-selected fans who tweet a photo of themselves wearing the knit bomber hat giveaway with the hashtag #SendMeToFanFest can win a pair of tickets to Orioles FanFest.

The entire Fan Appreciation Weekend schedule includes:
