Players' Weekend extends beyond jerseys

For the third straight year, Orioles players and broadcasters will join the rest of Major League Baseball in donning special Players' Weekend jereys.

All 30 teams will wear all black or all white, with the Orioles opting for the head-to-toe black unis. Players' Weekend, held from Aug. 23-25, will also allow players to wear customized cleats, batting gloves and BP T-shirts to show off their styles and personalities.

But the fun doesn't stop with the on-field looks.

Five Orioles have also created special menu items - including burnt ends with mac & cheese from Meansy (John Means) and arepas from Agua Blana (Anthony Santander) - that will be available at various concession stands throughout the weekend.

We even put Papa Frita's (Paul Fry) knowledge of french fries to the test before his signature curly fries are offered at the ballpark.

Be sure to check out all of the signature food items this weekend, and while you're at the park, be listening for the music played throughout OPACY. The BP and in-game playlists include songs chosen by the players themselves.

You can check out the music below and subscribe to the playlist so your Spotify is just like the players'!
