Postponed: Sunday split doubleheader scheduled

The Nationals announced tonight's game against the Colorado Rockies has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up Sunday night as part of a day-night doubleheader.

There will be separate admissions for Sunday's two games. Tickets for tonight's game will be honored for Sunday night's game. If you had tickets for tonight's game and cannot make Sunday's game, you can exchange your tickets online at nationals.com/rain.

Manager Dusty Baker was asked about where a rainout would leave his pitching rotation for the weekend. Would he feel better about moving a veteran or a rookie from his scheduled start?

"I like to keep a veteran where he is. But we haven't discussed it," Baker said during tonight's pregame.

The Nationals announced that Tanner Roark will start Saturday night's game against Colorado right-hander German Márquez.

The Nationals head to Miami Sunday night. The Rockies have a day off Monday before returning to play in Denver on Tuesday against the New York Mets.
