Quick update and a note of thanks

Orioles starter David Hernandez has surrendered bases-empty home runs to Nick Johnson and Nick Swisher in the first two innings. Maybe that's a good sign for Nick Markakis. The Yankees tacked on another run in the third, but Lou Montanez cut down Johnson at the plate. I hate having the feeling that this game is already over, but with Andy Pettitte on the mound, I'm not exactly brimming with confidence. Pitching coach Rick Kranitz was tossed from the game for arguing balls and strikes from the dugout. A line might be forming to join him. The starters are going deeper in games, but their coach makes an early exit. I'm not sure if that qualifies as ironic, but it happened. Though Adam Jones expects to play tomorrow night, you wonder if the upcoming roster move could be influenced by his strained hip. Montanez is vulnerable, but the Orioles might want to keep an extra outfielder. On a separate note, I want to thank all of you for the thoughts and prayers regarding my grandmother's passing this morning. I'm not able to address everyone individually, but I hope you know how much it means to me - more than words can express. You've managed to prop me up at a difficult time and bring comfort to my family, and I really appreciate it. You're good people. I already knew this, of course, but today brings further confirmation. .

So what's the solution?
