Red Sox beat O's 10-0

The Boston Red Sox defeated the Orioles 10-0 on the strength of six home runs and a strong start by Clay Buchholz. Buchholz only allowed three hits to the Orioles batters and walked one. Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia hit two of Boston's six home runs in the game.

David Hernandez had a short outing, giving up six runs in 2 2/3 innings. The bullpen didn't fair much better against Boston's bats giving up four runs. J.D. Drew, Alex Gonzalez, David Ortiz and Kevin Youkilis also hit home runs to help the Boston onslaught. The Orioles go for the series split Wednesday night.
