Santander in Orioles lineup vs. Nationals

Anthony Santander is in the Orioles' exhibition lineup tonight against the Nationals, making the start in right field after reporting to camp last week.

DJ Stewart is leading off and Cedric Mullins, who homered last night in Philadelphia, is in center field and batting ninth.

Austin Hays is out of the lineup after being hit on the left knee last night. Manager Brandon Hyde said Hays is fine, but likely would sit out tonight's game.

José Iglesias stayed back in camp yesterday for live batting practice, but he's playing shortstop tonight and batting second. Rio Ruiz is the designated hitter, with Renato Núñez at third base.

Bryan Holaday is catching.

The Orioles placed outfielder Dwight Smith Jr. on the injured list. He can be activated at any time.
