Tejada returns and Lou stays at the top

Dave Trembley was just on the Scott Garceau show on MASN and O's flagship station, 105.7 the Fan in Baltimore and said that Miguel Tejada will return to the lineup tonight after missing four games with a hip injury. Tejada last played last Saturday at Oakland when he went 3 for 3. He is batting .239-2-7 on the year. He is 3 for 11 on the road trip. Lou Montanez batted leadoff Wednesday night at Seattle and went 2 for 4. Trembley said he would bat leadoff tonight at Fenway Park. The skipper also thought his offense showed some positive signs despite scoring just one run vs. Felix Hernandez on Wednesday. "We competed well vs. Hernandez and had some good at bats, we just didn't put the hits together," Trembley said. "The at bats we had were much better. Right now we are looking for any spark we can get to right this thing. There is nothing we can do about the past, we need to get two or three under our belts to get it going." The O's hit just .184 in the Seattle series and have scored just 20 runs in seven games on this road trip.
